Death's Shadow

Hollows shrieked in glee as they tore into the Shinigami. They seemed to come out of nowhere, a never ending sea of white masks and bloody claws. "We're being over run!!" A shinigami shouted fearfully before being sliced in half. "Where the hell are the reinforcements??" Shouted another. "The Hollow Calvary should be here soon sir!" A female shouted hoarsely as she deftly dispatched two hollows. Suddenly a ripping sound split the air, and a shadow was cast over everyone on the ground...

Nyx looked to the 6th seat of her squad as Angelica shuffled restlessly beneath her, sensing the battle raging below. "You know what to do." The woman merely nodded before drawing her sword, waiting for the captain and the others to leap into the fray. "Alright, let's head out!" Nyx shouted before urging Angelica off the platform on Acheron's massive form, taking out a mass of hollows as they landed. The rest of the group followed suit, and Acheron rose to a higher altitude.

The masked woman raised her sword in her left hand, the blade gleaming in the light of the moon. "Ease, Azrael..." The blade shimmered before a rather large, blood red skull with black horns encased her hand. Instead of the bone like attachments that usually appeared, inky black shadows poured out from the eye sockets, washing over her titanic mount and melding with him, only making Acheron a more fearful sight.

The hollows still alive shuddered at the sight, for now Death was among them. And Death was on the side of their enemies...

Aaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnddddddddddd I'm done! |D Bout damn time too. My SAI froze so I lost most of this, and pretty much had to redraw everything. Except for the limbs...I couldn't redraw those and make them look right so I turned them into shadow limbs |D

Anywho! These are my Hollow Rider OCs, Azrael and Acheron~ Whenever Az releases shikai, if she chooses not to use it as a weapon she can access those shadows, which can conceal her reiatsu completely, and either relax an opponent into a false sense of security, or instill utter terror in them so they're frozen on the spot.

Az only uses this technique with Acheron, as it's useless during combat since an enemy could easily attack or kill her before the shadows can take full effect.

Anyways, I hope you all like it, and don't mind how dark it is x"DD They're in Hueco Mundo anyways
